Wowing The Neighbours

mediawow

In the last bleat we briefly introduced marketing agency media wow who moved into marshall’s court as we typed. We’d like to know a little more about them and thought you might too, so we caught up with managing director kelly farrington to see how things were going.

How long has Media Wow been going?
Since April 2006.

How many of you are there?
Currently 11.

Can you tell us a bit about your business and what sort of work you do?
We are a media planning and buying agency offering a full–service digital marketing package which also includes direct marketing, brand awareness, online marketing and design. At the moment, we have more than 30 clients including Adjustamatic Beds, CityCarClub, Marie Stopes International, Otto and Village Hotels.

Why did you decide to move in with us?
This office fits our criteria exactly, but more than that we wanted somewhere that had a different character and a bit of soul: which you often don’t find in city centre or business park office blocks. And there’s a sense of community here, and creativity, a bit of a buzz.

What else was important to you, and your team, when you were looking for a new work space?
In our previous offices, the team were spread across lots of smaller rooms, but Marshall’s Court offers us a bright, open-plan office space which allows for a more creative working environment, but it also incorporates a separate meeting room for hosting client or team meetings, which is really handy.

How are things going for you at the moment?
We moved to Marshalls Court after a clutch of new client wins and because we had recruited five new staff in the last six months, so it’s fair to say that things are going well at the moment. We have completed a few new sites since moving in including CityCarClub, Scootamatic, and NHC Mobility. We are currently working on four other new site builds, including one for Adjustamatic Beds, plus SEO for a new Bathroom client, so there’s no sign of things slowing down any time soon.

Long may it continue.
Absolutely!

Other than your new office of course, what do you like most about being in Holbeck Urban Village?
I should say: the easy access off the motorway; the friendly management; the 24/7 security and the great office space. I shouldn’t say: the Midnight Bell’s sunny courtyard and the fact it’s a wonderful place to enjoy lunch with clients and suppliers. Oops, just said it!
